Swamy Vivekananda Holistic Health and Healing Centre was started in 2002 at Tungabhadra village (Mantralayam Road Station), in the peaceful surroundings of the old ashram of Pandit Taranath. He was a great visionary in the fields of Yoga, Ayurveda, Music, and Health, and also a respected freedom fighter.

The centre has treated many chronic health issues like osteoarthritis, spondylosis, paralysis, spinal injuries, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, and even early kidney failure and HIV-positive cases. These results were achieved through a unique combination of Naturopathy, Yoga, Physiotherapy, and Ayurvedic home remedies, with modern medicines used only in emergencies.

To expand its reach and improve care, a new health and healing centre was set up at Mantralayam Road (near Navodaya Medical College). This centre has advanced equipment and a calm environment to support complete physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through a holistic approach.
